The boys’ swim team finished out their season yesterday at the Sectional meet at Vigo County. The Eagles had outstanding swims across the board, and every swimmer turned in a lifetime best. Several school records were lowered yet again and the guys raced courageously in the face of daunting competitors from Plainfield, Avon and Terre Haute North.
The girls’ swim team built on their momentum from the sectional prelims (Thursday) as they finished out their season at the finals on Saturday. The current team now boasts six school record holders, as Sammi Jones bettered her own record in the 200 and shattered the existing 500 freestyle record by 6 seconds. Josie Hutcheson

The swim team kicked off the Thanksgiving Break Tuesday night with their first coed meet of the season at McAnally Center, competing well with the Greencastle Tigersharks.
