The girls golf team faced Northview, Parke Heritage, and South Vermillion last night. Northview took the medalist and the match. South Putnam faced off against Indian Creek and Edgewood last night at Cascades Golf course in Bloomington. The Eagles won the match with a combined 209 strokes to Edgewood’s 241 and Indian Creek’s score of 223. The WIC golf match took place this weekend at Forest Park. Northview took the team win, and South Putnam tied for 3rd with a total score of 412. Last evening South Putnam faced Monrovia and Brown County at Deer Creek golf course. Monrovia took the meet with a score of 212. Brooke Farley from Monrovia took medalist with a 45. Greencastle hosted a well organized golf match at Tiger Pointe Country Club this morning to start off the South Putnam girls’ golf season, and in near perfect weather conditions. Greencastle took the match with a score of 222, with our Eagles bringing in a score of 233. Placing 2nd, with a score of 49, was Senior Alex Steffy.
