Swimmers Finish with Lifetime Bests, Haywood Advances to Diving Regional

The boys’ swim team finished out their season yesterday at the Sectional meet at Vigo County. The Eagles had outstanding swims across the board, and every swimmer turned in a lifetime best. Several school records were lowered yet again and the guys raced courageously in the face of daunting competitors from Plainfield, Avon and Terre Haute North.

Girls Swim Sectional Results

The girls’ swim team built on their momentum from the sectional prelims (Thursday) as they finished out their season at the finals on Saturday. The swim team kicked off the Thanksgiving Break Tuesday night with their first coed meet of the season at McAnally Center, competing well with the Greencastle Tigersharks. Assistant Coach of Diving Needed

The South Putnam Swimming & Diving program is looking for an Assistant Coach of Diving for the upcoming high school season. This is a paid position and requires approximately 3 practice days per week in addition to all meets November through February.  If you or someone you know has experience with the sport and would be interested in the position, please contact
