Swimming and Diving vs Owen Valley

The swim teams had a fun meet at home last night hosting the Owen Valley Patriots.  The athletes were able to swim new events, try new dives, and push their perceived limits, resulting in great swims and positive ethos for the meet overall.  The girls’ team won 110-60, while the boys’ team defeated the Patriots

Last night the swim teams traveled to North Montgomery to compete in their first meet in three weeks.  The girls’ team fought hard and brought home a new school record, but ultimately lost 78-107; the boys’ team, lacking depth, lost 83-97 despite winning seven of the 12 events. Eagle Swimming vs Southmont

Last night, the Eagle swim teams competed against Southmont at home.  The girls ran away with the meet, winning 10 of the 12 events, with a score of 129-39.  The boys’ team had a more difficult time, despite swimming well, and lost the team competition, 69-107.  Individual winners for the boys’ team were Jake Hutcheson

Varsity Swimming vs Fountain Central

The swim teams made the long trip to Fountain Central on Saturday morning for a dual meet with the Mustangs.  Despite swimming extremely well and battling for every place, both teams walked away with a loss. The swim teams competed well last night in a match up with West Vigo.  The girls’ team came out with a win 116-58, while having the opportunity to swim some different events. Varsity Swimming and Diving vs North Putnam and Tri-West

The swim teams opened up their season last night at home as they hosted Tri-West and North Putnam. The girls’ team won their meet, taking 7 of the 13 events and finishing with 126 points over Tri-West’s 100 and North’s 85. Open Swimming/Dive Practices

Middle and high school students are invited to participate in open swim/dive practices beginning this Monday, September 28th and continuing through the month of October.  The pool will be open from 6:30 am- 7:30 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.  This is a great opportunity for one-on-one coaching and technique work; we look forward
