Eagles Basketball vs West Vigo

Last night South Putnam hosted Cloverdale for JV and Varsity boys’ basketball.  The JV boys started the night off with a 40-33 win over the Clovers.  Garrett Heavin led the team with 14 points. On Friday, South Putnam hosted Greencastle for a boys’ and girls’ varsity double header.  The Lady Eagles started the night off and were lead in scoring by Miranda Bieghler with 17 points.  The girls’ were unable to secure a win, falling 43-54 to the Tiger Cubs. Eagles Represented in WVOA All-Star Game

Recent South Putnam graduates, Jessica Modglin and Josh Stewart, have been selected to participate in the Wabash Valley Officials Association North-South All-Star Basketball games.  The games are to be held on June 11th, with the girls’ game starting at 6:30pm and the boys’ game at 8pm. Grady McHugh signs with Wooster!

Yesterday, senior Grady McHugh signed to play football at the College of Wooster.  Grady was joined by his parents Mike and Rhonda McHugh, Assistant Coach Brian Baker-Watson, Head Coach Nathan Aker, and Athletic Director Troy Burgess.
