Softball Teams Both Top Rox

Both the Varsity and JV Softball teams came away victorious from the Rockville mound last night, Varsity capturing the win 8-3, and the JV team beating the Rox in the final inning, 12-9. Brionna Egold was the winning pitcher for the varsity game, taking them to a 10-9 record headed into the County Tournament on Saturday.

At the WIC meet, there were some good performances in many of the distance events.  The 3200m Relay team, consisting of Lexi Vanihel, Alex Fanning, Ally Nichols, and Grace Burdge got things started with a 5th place finish.  In the 1600m, Ally ran a PR to finish 3rd place, and Grace Burdge finished in 8th place.  The last

The Eagles struggled to get their offense going on Tuesday, getting easily dispatched by Northview, 18-3. In the first inning, Northview got their offense started. The girls’ tennis team hosted White River Valley on Saturday, winning the match 4-1. Although Reagan Ladd and Addi Blaydes (playing number one doubles) struggled throughout the match, I’m extremely proud of their effort.  They were down most of the match, but continued to play to win each point, never giving up.
