Varsity Baseball · South Takes A Tough Blow From Northview

The Eagles struggled to get their offense going on Tuesday, getting easily dispatched by Northview, 18-3.

In the first inning, Northview got their offense started. Northview scored one run when Tucker singled.

Northview pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Garrison singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Dylan Crum threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Northview, Booe doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, and Crum‘s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Northview.

Northview scored eight runs in the third inning. Northview’s big inning was driven by singles by AllenShawTucker, and Osborn, an error on a ball put in play by Tucker, and a double by Morris.

Tucker led things off on the hill for Northview. He allowed zero hits and three runs over two innings, striking out four and walking one.

Crum toed the rubber for South Putnam. He allowed six hits and nine runs over two and a third innings. Tanner Pistelli and Branden Demoret entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Jackson Wood and Demoret all had one hit to lead South.

Northview tallied 14 hits. ShawAllen, and Osborn all managed multiple hits for Northview. Shaw led Northview with three hits in four at bats.
