On Saturday, senior Kyle Shaffer competed for the Wrestling State Championship in the 195 pound bracket.  Shaffer ended the weekend placing 3rd individually and 26th in the team standings, out of the 310 schools in the tournament.

    • Champ. Round 1 – Shaffer won by fall over David Delph (Frankton) 39-5 (Fall 4:16)
    • Quarterfinals – Shaffer won by fall over Caleb Hanekson (Bellmont) 42-3 (Fall 3:14)
    • Semifinal – Tristen Tonte (Warren Central) 39-2 won by fall over Shaffer (Fall 3:20)
    • 3rd Place Match – Shaffer won by medical forfeit over Ben Stewart (Indianapolis Cathedral) 35-3
